Science & Biology Educator | Veterinary Medicine Graduate | International & Online Learning
What if Biology and Science could stop feeling like a list of facts — and start feeling like a story that actually makes sense?
I am Dr. Sohila Hesham, a Science and Biology educator with 3+ years of experience in online teaching, supporting students from Primary and Middle School Science through Secondary Biology.
I am a Cairo University Veterinary Medicine graduate, with a strong scientific foundation in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, and life sciences, supported by professional teacher training and continuous development in modern education and educational technology.
My approach is designed for students who need more than simply “the answer.” I focus on helping students understand why something happens, connect concepts together, ask scientific questions, and confidently explain what they have learned.
My online lessons combine:
• Concept-based learning
• Inquiry-based learning
• The 5E instructional model
• STEM-inspired learning
• Interactive discussion and questioning
• Real-world scientific applications
• Visual explanations and professional presentations
• Continuous assessment
• Individual feedback and follow-up
• Educational technology and AI-supported learning
I work with Science and Biology students across different academic stages, adapting the depth, language, examples, and learning strategies to the student’s curriculum and level.
My international teaching approach is especially focused on building the type of scientific thinking students need in modern school systems — understanding concepts, making connections, applying knowledge, and explaining their reasoning, rather than relying on memorization alone.
I also integrate modern educational technologies including ChatGPT, Canva, Quizizz, and AI tools for teaching to create engaging and well-structured online learning experiences.
